For CPAs and tax preparers
I'm a bookkeeper in Johnstown, and I work only in QuickBooks Online. I don't do tax work, so a client you refer to me is still your client. My job is to make their books easier for you at year-end.
What the books will look like
For clients I work with monthly, bank and credit card accounts are reconciled every month, and the books are closed on a set date with a Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. At year-end, I send you the reports and answer your questions about the books.
I don't prepare returns or give tax advice. That work stays with you.
How referrals work
Send the client my way with an intro email, or just give them my number. They get a free call and a free review of their books, then a flat monthly price in writing.
Once they're set up, and with their OK, I'll let you know, so you know who to call with questions about the books.
Clients who are a good fit
- Small businesses on QuickBooks Online, or open to moving to it
- Owners who are behind, or doing the books themselves after hours
- Clients whose books take you a lot of cleanup time every spring
Clients who aren't
- Books on a platform other than QuickBooks Online, if they won't move
- Clients who need payroll run, bills paid, or invoices sent for them
